LIMITED WARRANTY
Computer Medics is not responsible for any loss of data due to corruption, hardware failure, virus, adware, or spyware. Computer Medics will make their best effort to recover lost data for an additional fee. There are no warranties granted or implied for any work related to virus or adware infestation. It is the responsibility of the customer to update antivirus and adware definitions and run scheduled scans to protect their equipment. It is the customer’s responsibility to back up any data prior to service. Computer Medics does not warrant any wireless connectivity. Instruction will be given to the customer to reset wireless connection based on generic manufacturer procedures. It is the responsibility of the customer to contact the hardware manufacturer for specific procedures if the unit needs to be factory reset. COMPUTER MEDICS DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR REINSTALLATION OF ANY PROGRAMS BEYOND THE OPERATING SYSTEM. A payment is due at time of service. All parts have a 30 day warranty. Labor to replace the defective part is not covered under any warranty. If additional problems occur due to other circumstances a service fee will be charged. Desktop and Laptop Computer systems are warranted thru their respective manufacturer and are not warranted in any way by Computer Medics. Original invoice is required for warranty work, returns or exchanges. No returns after 48 hours on computer systems. No returns after 7 days on non-defective components. No returns on open software. All returned checks are subject to a $25.00 return check fee. All unclaimed computers will become the property of Computer Medics after 90 days unless prior storage arrangements have been made.
Exceptions:
This warranty is void by Computer Medics if the following damage occurs: The hardware is damaged as a result of accident. Misuse, abuse, misapplication, unauthorized maintenance, modification, attachments or alterations, acts of God, use of equipment for purposes not otherwise intended for the hardware.
Exclusion of Liability:
Computer Medics does not accept liabilities beyond the remedies set forth in this limited warranty statement. In no event will Computer Medics be liable for any damages incurred by any person, even if Computer Medics has been notified of the possibility of such damages or claims. Such damages include, but are not limited to, economic loss (including loss of profits, loss of revenue, cost of capital, cost of replacement or substitute equipment or service, or customer or customer’s agent’s time), physical injury or other damages which are indirect, incidental, special, or consequential.
COMPUTER MEDICS MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES BEYOND THOSE STATED HERE. ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIED AND CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY PERIOD.
SOFTWARE IS NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY. CHECK WITH THE SOFTWARE MANUFACTURER FOR THEIR WARRANTY AND SUPPORT POLICIES
